The Statistical Yearbook of Ireland 2013 was
published by the Central Statistics Office (CSO) on Thursday. The Yearbook
presents a comprehensive picture of Ireland today.
The CSO says It provides detailed information, tables and graphs across a wide
range of topics. These include the population, labour market, education, crime,
the economy, agriculture, industry, services, prices, housing, and the
Annual average earnings for 2012 were €36,079 across all economic sectors, an
increase of €174 over the 2011 figure of €35,905.
Social Welfare expenditure has increased from 8.9% of Gross National Product in
2002 to 15.6% in 2012...and much more.
