AIB Bank says that based on Central Bank of Ireland Guidelines the following LTV (loan-to-value) bands are applicable: For Non First Time Buyers of private dwelling homes (PDH): A limit of 80% LTV applies on new mortgage lending For First Time Buyers (FTB's) of PDHs: A limit of 90% LTV applies on the first €220,000 of the value of a residential property and a limit of 80% LTV applies on any value of the property thereafter. Please also note that for PDH 1 bed apartments the maximum LTV is 75%.
